The Department for Education announced the awards for the Early Outcomes Fund in March 2019. Greater Manchester Combined Authority was awarded funding to evaluate and increase the pace and scale of implementation of the GM Speech, Language and Communication Pathway. The GM SLC Pathway aims to improve Communication and Language outcomes for all children in the early years and reduce the inequality gap by age 5 years.
Passionate about improving early years services to ensure all children get the very best start in life. Recently retired from my role as Early Years Strategic Lead with Bolton Council and now working independently as an early years consultant and supporting the work of GMCA and the EOF project.
